Gastric Cancer in a Girl of 19

A girl, about 19 years of age and mother of one child about three years old, was admitted into the hospital on 18th April, 1937, with complaint of a constant pain and flatulent distension of the abdomen, and a feeling of distress and increased pain about the epigastrium after taking food. This was partly relieved by vomiting four to six hours after meals. These and other minor dyspeptic troubles had continued for a little over a month previous to her admission into the hospital. She also gave a history of amenorrhcea for four months.
